Product Description
Neem Oil is extracted from the Neem tree which originates from India. The Neem tree is considered sacred in India as it symbolizes good health and protection. For thousands of years all parts of the Neem tree have been used for its medicinal and insecticidal properties. We use Neem oil in our soap to help manage skin conditions such as, but not limited to, psoriasis, eczema, acne and skin rashes. Neem Oil Benefits for the skin Neem oil is rich in Vitamin E and is naturally antibacterial and antifungal, making it ideal for use on skin that is prone to infection or inflammation. It contains Carotenoids which help repair skin damage and signs of aging caused by UV radiation, hormones, or acne and Omegas 6 and 9 which together maintain the skins suppleness and promote moisture retention in the skin. Our Neem Goat Milk Soap contains No Parabens, No Sodium Lauryl Sulphate (SLS) and No added colour. Why Goats Milk? Goats Milk is full of vitamins and minerals which help keep the skin in optimum condition. Vitamin A (Retinol) works to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles by stimulating the production of collagen. It contains Vitamin K which helps brighten the skin and improve elasticity and which also has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, counteracting both inflammation and free radicals. Goats Milk contains alpha-hydroxy acids (AHAs) which helps remove dead skin cells leaving new cells that are smoother so giving a brighter appearance and because it is a natural moisturiser, it can help prevent the skin from drying out. Zinc and Selenium are also present in Goats Milk which again are anti-oxidants helping in the fight to protect skin from free radicals. What are Free Radicals? Free radicals can be formed either naturally in the body through normal processes or from outside elements such as cigarette smoke, exhaust fumes, radiation, and chemicals. Basically, free radicals are tiny unpaired particles that contain oxygen and are chemically unstable. They look for electrons, such as ones found in human cells to create a more stable state. This is often what causes the damage such as premature aging that free radicals are connected with. In summary we find that Goats Milk in a soap is beneficial to the skin on many levels. It can brighten, tone, rejuvenate and rehydrate the skin. It is good for all skin types because of its naturally occurring skin loving components. Shea Butter Benefits We use Shea Butter which is a natural fat that is extracted from the fruit of the Shea tree. Shea Butter has been used on the skin for centuries and its benefits to the skin are extensive. It is naturally rich in Vitamins A, E and F and also has anti-inflammatory and healing properties, which make it ideal for conditions such as Eczema, Psoriasis and Dermatitis. Shea Butter is also known to help reduce the appearance of scars and stretch marks. Why use our Goat Milk Soap? All our soaps are made by hand in small batches here on the farm, we use carefully selected ingredients which we combine with raw Goats Milk from our own small herd of happy goats. We do not reduce the milks efficacy by diluting it with water, nor do we use a cheaper powdered alternative. Our ladies are family pets, they all have names and we give them the best possible life we can. When they retire from milking they stay with the herd and tend to stay in their family groups keeping an eye on the grand ‘ kids’. None of our products are tested on animals Best for Acne Eczema Psoriasis Urticaria (Hives) Dermatitis Maintaining a healthy skin Rehydrating Dry Skin
