The Wasabi Black series by KAI combines functionality, sharpness, and robust material quality in a simple design. The series includes both single-edged and double-edged blades and features a water-resistant plastic handle with a pleasant feel, achieved through the addition of bamboo powder. The polished blades of the Wasabi Black series are made of corrosion-resistant 6A/1K6 stainless steel with a hardness of 58 (±1) HRC. They offer a variety of blade shapes, including traditional Japanese single-bevel blades. The slightly curved spine of the blade allows for a secure grip and precise cuts. The matte black plastic handle is extremely durable and fully encloses the blade tang, ensuring hygienic cleaning.
